Job summary

Famous Footwear in Lorain, OH is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering the best in-store experience. You will greet customers, help them find the right styles, and keep the store clean and inviting, ensuring easy shopping for every guest.

You’ll champion our culture, engage customers with a positive, proactive attitude, and work well with a team to hit sales goals. Training and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store teammates.
• Strong communication and positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with guidance from Store Sales Manager.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, inventory) to keep the store running smoothly.
• Deliver outstanding customer engagement and help customers find the right products.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals with a proactive, positive approach.
• Uphold company policies and integrity in all actions.
• Support training and development of fellow associates as needed.
