Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Houston, TX. This part-time role supports the CVS Store Management team, supervises store staff when managers are away, and helps ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

You will handle merchandising, customer inquiries, and daily task execution, maintaining CVS standards and a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail supervisor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor and ensure store operations run smoothly.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and manage weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays and signage.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and on time.
