Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead responsible for delivering prompt and courteous customer service, assisting with purchases and fuel transactions, and keeping the store organized and stocked.

You will lead a small team, support the Store Manager, and help the store meet performance targets. The role requires basic cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in some states) and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed performance goals.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily paperwork, problem resolution, video review, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count, and equipment maintenance.
