Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads to join our nationwide convenience store network. You will deliver friendly customer service, support fuel and merchandise availability, and assist in daily store operations.

This role offers growth opportunities from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager with strong performance. We value dependability and teamwork; successful candidates will have cashier experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months related job experience
Minimum 3 months of cashier experience
High school diploma or GED or equivalent required
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; standing and bending required

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous customer experience
Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns
Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions
Operate cash register
Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers
Maintain a clean and safe store environment
Support Store Manager in all store operations
Lead the team to meet store performance goals
Perform duties as assigned by management
Backup duties when management is absent including paperwork and inventory duties
