Job summary

The SAFE Alliance is hiring a part-time Resident Advisor for the Community Shelter Campus in Austin, TX. The role supports shelter residents, delivers front desk coverage, and collaborates with shelter staff to promote safety, healing, and empowerment for survivors of abuse.

Responsibilities include intake and orientation, crisis intervention, and maintaining documentation. Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred; the position requires weekend evening hours with a non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish verbal and written preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong client/customer relationships and delivers client/customer-centric solutions while providing front desk coverage as needed.
• Maintains safety planning with residents and supports trauma-informed care and community building.
• Keeps shift notes and documents up to date and completes required data entry.
• Attends team and program meetings and completes required trainings.
