Job summary

SAFE Alliance seeks a full-time, overnight Resident Advisor at Grove Campus in East Austin. The RA supports shelter residents, coordinates front desk activities, and collaborates with staff to ensure safety and empowerment for survivors.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish fluency, trauma-informed care understanding, and adherence to shelter guidelines. Shift is Mon-Fri, 12am–8am, non-exempt, no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• One to two years crisis intervention experience preferred.
• English and Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage and crisis intervention when needed.
• Support survivors in safety planning and community building.
• Maintain shift notes and shelter documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and training requirements.
