Ruby's Place dba Restorative Pathways (RP) is seeking a part-time Shelter Monitor / Residential Advocate in Tracy, CA. You will support daily shelter operations, assist participants, and help maintain a safe, structured environment for residents in a 150-bed program.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches, teamwork, and crisis de-escalation. Requires high school diploma, background checks, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices.
• Ability to complete all required background checks, including fingerprinting (Live Scan), Community Care Licensing (CCL) documentation, and meeting CCL requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct Participant Support in a 150-bed shelter, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Monitor shelter spaces for safety and program adherence.
• Assist with daily shelter operations including check-in and bed assignments.
• Respond to conflicts using de-escalation techniques and document incidents.
• Collaborate with staff to support participant needs and maintain program flow.
