Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Server for our community restaurant in Algonquin, IL. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional dining experience, building relationships with residents, and ensuring guest satisfaction with every service encounter.

You will guide residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection, while coordinating orders through a modern POS system. The position supports a friendly, hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have friendliness and compassion for residents.
• If under 18, provide schoolwork authorization.
• Must currently hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Card as required by state/county regulations.
• Strong customer service presentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate orders to residents using the POS system.
• Complete dining room opening and closing duties as outlined by the community.
