Job summary

Ivy Park of Wellington is a premier senior living community offering part-time or on-call dining positions. The Server role focuses on friendly, respectful service and accurate order entry into the POS system to enhance residents' meals and experience.

We provide training if needed and support a team-oriented environment with safety standards, teamwork, and compassionate care for seniors and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Ensure proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
