Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a Part-Time Server to help create an exceptional dining experience for residents. Shifts include 11am-7pm or 2pm-7pm, with weekend and holiday availability required, and a friendly, professional demeanor is essential.

You will greet residents, present menus, suggest dishes, coordinate with the kitchen and servers using our POS system, and help with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
• Server must currently hold a Food Handler's Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state/county regulations.
• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate orders using the state-of-the-art POS system.
• Complete dining room opening and closing duties as established by the community.
