Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a PT Server to deliver high-quality dining service in our Stockton, CA community. You’ll take orders, serve meals, and support residents with dietary needs while maintaining a clean dining area and adhering to safety standards.

You’ll work evenings and weekends with flexible scheduling, and join a team that values hospitality, growth, and resident-focused care. Training provided, competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Must complete required Background clearances, health screening, and provide negative TB test results within 7 days of employment (must be within the last 6 months).
• Basic counting skills as required by the position (tracking meals/residents, etc.).
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, understand, and read English.
• Must be able to operate standard serving equipment (salad bar/heating cart, trays, etc.).
• Must possess the ability to always deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, guests, vendors, and the public.
• Must meet and maintain all state-specific regulatory requirements, such as Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals.
• Uphold a high standard of table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing dishes between courses, and resetting tables.
• Engage with residents and assist with meal and menu selections.
• Review dietary needs and care plans as outlined by the Supervisor.
• Track resident meal attendance for safety checks and communications with team members.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and seating residents, including new residents.
• Deliver meals to rooms for those who opt for room service.
• Maintain a clean dining area and follow food safety protocols.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and coordinating dining supplies.
• Support kitchen/dining services to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Report safety or equipment issues to the Supervisor when observed.
