Job summary

Dirty Habit, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seeks a Part-Time PM Server to deliver prompt, friendly service in Hotel Zelos’ acclaimed dining room and rooftop lounge in San Francisco.

You will greet guests, take orders, memorize menu items, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness and high standards. The role requires Saturday shifts, a high school education, and at least 3 months of similar experience. Join a team that values thoughtful service and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3+ months of experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of customer service principles and restaurant operations.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Cash-handling procedures knowledge.
• Ability to observe and work in dim lighting.

Responsibilities

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Remains attentive to the customers throughout the dining experience, adhering to service standards.
• Completes restocking and cleaning duties with opening/closing sidework.
• Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness standards in restaurant, waitstation and kitchen areas.
• Receives proper payment and ensures accuracy of guest checks.
• Attends pre-meal and departmental meetings in person to enhance communication and knowledge of products, service and facility.
• Responds to customer inquiries with timely and knowledgeable information to provide quality service.
• Presents a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Must work Saturdays.
