Job summary

Dirty Habit is seeking a part-time PM server to deliver prompt, friendly service at Hotel Zelos in San Francisco. You will greet guests, take orders, memorize menus, and ensure accurate checks while maintaining a high standard of hospitality in a vibrant setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school education, at least 3 months in a similar role, and fluency in English. This position offers 401(k) matching and employee discounts within Sage properties.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3+ months of experience in a similar role.
• Must be fluent in oral and written English.
• Basic knowledge of customer service principles, cash handling and restaurant operations.
• Ability to observe details and coordinate tasks in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders, serve items and handle special requests.
• Remain attentive and uphold service standards throughout the dining experience.
• Complete restocking and cleaning duties during opening/closing sidework.
• Memorize menu items and specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining, wait station and service areas.
• Document guest checks accurately and handle payments securely.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings in person.
• Respond to guest inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and personable demeanor.
• Work Saturdays as required.
