Job description

Seeking professional cocktail servers with fine dining experience. This is a very important role for us and we rely heavily on our serving staff to be team orientated and passionate about hospitality. They manage the pulse of the bar/lounge and ensure guests have a memorable experience. At all times, cocktail servers are expected to be attentive to the guests’ needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take beverage orders.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
• Ensure that the assigned service area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for serving guests.
• Serve snacks or full dinner service to guests.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.

Requirements

• Previous bartending/cocktail server experience, preferably at least 2 years.
• A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service.
• Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience.
• Punctual, patient, and mindful of relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Good understanding of wine, cocktails and beer.
• Working knowledge of and experience with POS systems.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good team player.
• Provide warm, professional & knowledgeable service.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• The ability to multi task and work well in a high volume work environment.
• Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Must have valid or be able obtain a food handler card in first 30 days.
