Job summary

LAKE is seeking a Senior Sales Lead to guide the sales floor and coach the team alongside the Store Manager, driving store results and creating elevated experiences for customers.

You will own initiatives across shifts, lead by example, and ensure the floor reflects LAKE’s distinctive aesthetic while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of retail sales experience, including leadership experience.
• Proven track record of driving team sales and delivering elevated service.
• Resilience and composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to coach and develop peers.
• Proficiency in POS and retail systems, Shopify a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and coach the team alongside the Store Manager.
• Drive store results and sales KPIs across shifts.
• Set floor standards and ensure elevated customer experiences.
• Manage lead projects and initiatives with minimal manager involvement.
• Partner with Store Manager to train and develop the team on sales & service behaviors.
• Share best practices and refine processes across shifts.
• Oversee visual merchandising and store operations aligning with LAKE’s seasonal direction.
• Stay composed during peak times and motivate the team to excel.

You will...

• Anticipate HER needs and lead by example, coaching the team to create effortless, personalized experiences for every client and championing HER-first decisions across the floor.
• Build a loyal clientele through thoughtful follow-up and genuine connection, and help the team grow their own
• Drive individual, team, and store sales, using KPIs such as conversion, UPT, and AOV to identify patterns, act on them, and keep the team focused on daily priorities
• Own lead projects and initiatives across shifts, aligning them with store goals and seeing them through from start to finish without manager involvement
• Partner with the Store Manager to train and coach the team across sales and service behaviors, translating strategy into execution and providing regular feedback.
• Share best practices across shifts and work with peers to refine processes and improve execution, ensuring every coaching moment is aligned with LAKE.
• Set the standard for visual merchandising and operations, ensuring the floor reflects LAKE’s seasonal visual direction, and approve low-risk adjustments to store priorities in partnership with your manager.
• Stay composed during peak times, challenge team norms to improve performance, and inspire the team to stretch and grow.
• The Senior Sales Lead reports to the Store Manager

You should have...

• 4 to 6 years of retail sales experience, including leadership experience
• A proven record of driving team sales and delivering elevated service
• Resilience and composure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop peers
• Proficiency in POS and retail systems, with a strong understanding of KPIs. Experience with Shopify is a plus
• A passion for the LAKE brand and aesthetic

• Availability for standard retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
