Job summary

LAKE is seeking a Sales Associate to provide personalized service, answer product questions, and close sales while building long-term client relationships. The role includes daily stock maintenance and thoughtful merchandising aligned with the LAKE brand.

You will meet targets through proactive selling, upselling, and cross-selling, while supporting store managers and teammates to uphold the luxury shopping experience. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive demeanor and team player mindset.
• Clear communicator with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, high-touch service to customers and offer styling advice.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of LAKE products, fabrics, craftsmanship, and selling points.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling and upselling.
• Assist Store Manager in maintaining store visuals and brand-aligned merchandising.
• Process transactions accurately (cash, credit, gift cards) using POS systems.
• Collaborate with sales associates and management to uphold LAKE's culture and sales goals.
• Share product knowledge and best practices with colleagues and participate in client events.
• Continuously seek to improve personal sales skills and product knowledge.

• Provide personalized, high-touch service, offering styling advice, listening to client needs, and tailoring recommendations, to create memorable client experiences that embody the LAKE brand.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the brand's product offerings, including collections, fabrics, craftsmanship, and key selling points.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Assist Store Manager and Leads in maintaining the visual presentation of the store, ensuring products are displayed according to brand guidelines and best practices.
• Process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit, and gift cards.
• Work closely with fellow sales associates and management to uphold LAKE's cultural environment and contribute to team sales goals.
• Share product knowledge and best practices with colleagues, contributing to the overall development of the team.
• Participate in store events or client-related events as needed, representing the brand and enhancing client relationships.
• Continuously seek to improve personal sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-development.
• Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the brand's values and maintaining the integrity of the luxury experience.
