Job summary

Responsibilities

Assists in planning and designing programming, services, activities and events for the department.
Conducts classes for participants at different fitness/cognitive levels and recruits participants for new and existing classes.
Provides customer service and information about center programs and services.
Coordinates programming and presentations with community groups and schools; schedules speakers and demonstrations.
Plans, leads, and supervises participants at events; arranges space and transportation; recruits participants.
Assists with public relations and communication; creates flyers, calendars and promotional materials; maintains mailing lists.
