Job summary

Sullivan Park Senior Living - ALF seeks a Dietary Aide to support the kitchen and dining services. This role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves setting up meal trays, washing dishes, serving meals, and monitoring dishwasher temperatures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read procedures/recipes, and a food handlers’ certificate. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and recipes.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Physical ability to stand, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays, wash dishes, and operate the dishwasher.
• Check chlorine and water temperature of the dishwasher at shift start.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, floors, and maintain kitchen sanitation.
• Assist with nourishment prep, groceries, and stocking.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
