The Shores of Worthington is seeking a part-time Cook to join our dietary team at Worthington, MN. You will prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs, following menus, recipes, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include safe food handling, accurate portioning, timely service, and coordinating with dietary staff for texture-modified diets and special requests. Previous healthcare or senior living kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare, senior living, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of low-sodium, diabetic, and texture-modified diets.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure meals are served at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including storage and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Coordinate with dietary staff for texture-modified diets and special requests.
• Monitor and record food and supply usage to minimize waste.
• Comply with state and facility regulations for dietary services.
