Job summary

Ovation by Avamere seeks a Part-time Bartender in Omaha, NE to create a welcoming social atmosphere in our community pub. You will mix beverages, ensure responsible service, and greet residents and guests. This role supports seniors with patience and care.

You will coordinate with Life Enrichment for events, maintain inventory, follow safety guidelines, and operate POS while respecting tipping policy. Prior bartending experience and a food safety certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Experience bartending or in a restaurant is preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and HIPAA awareness.
• CPR/BLS current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve beverages per recipes and guidelines.
• Accommodate residents' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Prepare light pub fare and garnishes; maintain bar setup.
• Verify legal drinking age; ensure responsible service.
• Greet residents by name and provide a warm experience.
• Coordinate with Life Enrichment for events and parties.
• Manage inventory, restock, and submit orders.
• Operate POS and follow tipping policy; uphold sanitation.
