Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is seeking a Senior Supervisor Custodial Services for Chicago Theatre to lead the custodial team during events and oversee front of house operations.

The role focuses on facility maintenance, event-driven staffing, and training delivery throughout performances. The successful candidate will train, evaluate and coach staff, track completion of trainings, and ensure guest areas remain pristine and ready for performances.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in facility management.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the visual elegance of a renowned performance space.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of management.
• Commitment to providing a high-quality service experience for internal and external clients.
• Strong experience supervising cleaning teams and proven leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize responsibilities for event days for custodial team.
• Coordinate pre-event clean, maintain custodial operations during the event and handle post event cleaning operations.
• Partner with internal departments to coordinate custodial work orders via 24/7 Software system and urgent email requests.
• Ensure public-facing areas maintain a pristine presentation and work with event management for performance-ready spaces.
• Evaluate and improve cleanliness and guest experience to achieve high client satisfaction.
• Respond rapidly to custodial emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
• May interview candidates for open positions and make recommendations for hire.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to educate on event highlights and staff responsibilities.
