Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach, FL seeks an Experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a part-time role. You will verify orders, perform echocardiograms, ensure accurate documentation, and aid physicians with transesophageal procedures.

The position requires RDCS or RCS certification, a graduate ultrasound program with emphasis in adult echocardiography, and at least 2 years of experience in adult and transesophageal echocardiography, including stress and contrast imaging.

Formación

• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• Graduate of an approved ultrasound program with emphasis in adult echocardiography.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in adult and transesophageal echocardiography.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies orders and patient information prior to exam, completes documentation for accurate reports.
• Performs echocardiograms in various locations; portable, in-department, etc.
• Completes exams promptly to maintain department productivity and schedule.
• Selects frequencies and settings to optimize 2D, Doppler, stress echo and 3D images.
• Distinguishes normal vs. abnormal structures and provides technical impressions.
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiography and administers contrast as needed.
• Completes stress echoes according to protocol and records required data.
