Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an Activity Assistant (Part Time) to plan and lead engaging activities for residents. Help organize orientation, track attendance, and coordinate events on a Thursday–Saturday schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The role emphasizes compassionate care for seniors, strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team, including providing transportation when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of activities meeting residents' mental, physical, social, and spiritual needs.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach to elderly and disabled residents.
• Know locations of MSDS sheets and hazard guidelines.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL may be required for large vans.
• Proficient with personal computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and participates in daily activities and events.
• Assist in New Resident Orientation.
• Track attendance and encourage activity participation.
• Lead activities following community policies.
• Interact with residents and families to meet activity needs.
• Provide transportation for residents as needed.
• Assist the Activities Director in absence.
• Develop monthly activity calendars and quarterly newsletters.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Support tours and volunteer recruitment.
