Qualifications

• Experience in retirement living, nursing homes, or adult day care preferred.
• Clear communication with people of all ages and abilities.
• Read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and follow the dress code.
• Flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Pass health screening for tuberculosis and a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, and implementation of activities for Connections residents and monthly calendars.
• Lead one-on-one and group activities; prepare rooms and transport residents as needed.
• Document daily attendance, monthly calendars, and transportation logs.
• Assist with newsletters, bulletins, and display preparation.
• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to evaluate program effectiveness and participation.
• Attend training courses and participate in professional development activities.
