Food Lion in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Self Checkout Ambassador to provide fast, friendly service at the Front End. You will greet customers, assist with self-checkout and respond to system alerts while maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and following Front End Practices; you will learn the SCO system, handle basic payments, and help ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Assist customers on how to use self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout.
• Respond timely to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications.
• Monitor multiple self-checkouts for proper customer usage including the scanning of all items and the accurate scanning of each.
• Complete self-checkout voids, age restricted item verifications and any other SCO assist function on accordance to Front End Standard Practice.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform, complete with name badge, when on duty, with neat appearance and dress code adherence.
