Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Bay Minette, AL to monitor access, assist employees and visitors, and maintain a secure site. This role includes driving responsibilities and requires a valid driver’s license, as well as adherence to site procedures and reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check may be required by law.
• Drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial areas by verifying credentials and issuing access badges.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and entry points to identify unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control records per policy.
