As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following established entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
