Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Bay Minette, AL to monitor access, assist employees and visitors, and maintain a secure site. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial areas by verifying credentials and issuing access badges.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and entry points to identify unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control records per policy.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial areas by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, issuing access badges, and maintaining required entry records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, visitor information, and access-control exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
