Job summary

DSI Security Services in Miami is seeking a Part-Time Security Shift Supervisor for the Port of Miami. You will oversee security operations on assigned shifts, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff.

The role includes swing and overnight shifts with emphasis on compliance with DSI and client post instructions. A valid TWIC card and security license are required; background and drug screenings will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must pass all required background and drug screenings.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
• Valid Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.

Shifts Available:

Full Time:

Swing shift - 1500 -2300

Overnight - 2300 - 0700

Part Time:
