Job summary

DSI Security Services in Channelview, TX is hiring a Security Officer to join a team focused on customer service and safety. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents with a professional, safety-first approach.

Candidates should hold a valid security license, a TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license, pass background and drug screenings, and be able to work all weather conditions. Earn $15.50/hour with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with clear written and oral communication.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine patrols and light lifting.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and communication.
• Must pass background and drug screenings.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
• Valid Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
