Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Screening Desk in Indianapolis, IN. You will operate screening equipment, perform access control, and help maintain a secure environment while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers a consistent schedule and a pay rate of $17.22 per hour, with opportunities to grow through training and our Shift a Shift platform for new roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• X-ray screening and access-control experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention and badge-access experience preferred.
• Applicants must meet age requirements (18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed positions).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel via site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and items entering/leaving the site according to procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points; report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
