Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Package Screening in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, report security concerns, and support smooth operations at a logistics and distribution site.

Your schedule is set Part Time with evening shifts. Minimum requirements include a state or local security license (preferred), 21+ years old, a guard card, high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background and drug

Qualifications

State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Guard card is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while conducting site-specific screening procedures.
Screen personnel, packages, and items entering or leaving the facility in line with procedures; report irregularities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and documentation, maintain screening records.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per site procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
