Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while conducting site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen personnel, packages, and items entering or leaving the facility in line with procedures; report irregularities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and documentation, maintain screening records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report hazards or maintenance concerns.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, packages, and/or other authorized items entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures; report irregularities and prohibited items to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and maintain accurate screening and incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role
• Guard card is required..
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
