Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Plainfield, Indiana. You will screen personnel and maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution site, while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include access control, incident response, and regular patrols. This role requires a high school diploma, 18+ age, and successful background/drug screening as per laws. Shift options include evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by following security procedures and site policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the location.
• Inspect credentials, logs, and packages and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouses, parking, and perimeter.
