Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Screening Control in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on customer service, operating screening equipment, and maintaining a safe, orderly environment in logistics and distribution settings.

As a Screener, you will document security activity, interact with employees and visitors, and support loss prevention efforts while reporting to site leadership. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors and staff.
• Familiarity with screening procedures, equipment and safety protocols.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet and documenting activity in systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and property entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of permitted items to help identify prohibited or unauthorized materials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
