Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Screening Process Control in Indianapolis, IN. You will use screening technology to identify prohibited items, support controlled access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Background checks and drug screening required.
Age: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation in accordance with laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
Driver's license required for driving positions.
X-ray screening experience preferred.
Access control and badge handling preferred.
Loss prevention experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen personnel, visitors, and shipments entering designated areas.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for entry to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents calmly and report observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular patrols of logistics and distribution areas and perimeter locations.
