Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Customer Service Screener in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard clients across various industries. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a secure, welcoming environment at a logistics and distribution site.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour, featuring a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Ability to lift 20 pounds is preferred.
Loss prevention experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-screening requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and packages in accordance with established procedures; inspect credentials, authorized items, and restricted items as applicable.
Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate records, and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
