Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver Customer Service. You will provide security and exceptional customer service while patrolling a retail location, including driving patrols, to deter incidents and welcome customers, associates, and visitors.

As a Part Time Officer, you can build a flexible schedule (Fri 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Sat 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM) and join a team that values integrity, reliability, and community service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity for suspicious behavior, potential theft, policy violations, and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
