Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Durham, NC. This part-time role combines unarmed security duties with customer service and driving responsibilities to protect a government location.

You will perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist visitors, and respond to incidents with professional communication and teamwork. A valid driver’s license is required; schedule is DayTime/Wed and Thur nights.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with customer service preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law and policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor entrances, verify authorized access, and document activity.
