Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Statesville, NC. The role involves unarmed security, patrolling, and providing exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of activity throughout the location and communicate security-related information, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.
