Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver for our Richmond, VA location. You will provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while conducting patrols and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

This role involves responding to incidents, documenting activities, and coordinating with site leadership. A valid driver's license, HS diploma, and background check are required; driving positions require licensure and a drug screen

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of incidents and patrols.
