Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with a DoD Secret Clearance for our Chantilly, VA site. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

The role emphasizes secure, courteous service, adherence to site procedures, and clear communication with Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background checks and drug screen as required by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency protocols.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in reports and communicate with site contacts.
