Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer with DoD Secret clearance for the Herndon, VA area. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

This role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and offers a Saturday/Sunday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule with a pay rate of $24.02 per hour. Join a team that emphasizes reliability, agility, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
