Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Arlington, VA to protect personnel and property at a technology/telecom site. You will handle access control, incident response, and routine patrols, while maintaining detailed logs and compliance with site procedures.

We value a 3+ year security background or a college degree, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and relevant licenses. This role emphasizes flexibility, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs per requirements.
