Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for the Richmond, VA area. You will patrol a technology-focused location, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

You’ll monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed logs. Typical shifts and duties emphasize safety, compliance, and collaboration with site personnel, with a focus on flexible scheduling and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site policy and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document events per site procedures.
• Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports for supervision and site contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery operations; verify credentials and follow site procedures for reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document events per site procedures.
• Prepare logs and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
