Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for an Eatery Facility in New York, NY. You will patrol, deter incidents, support access control, and assist guests with professionalism at a dynamic retail/dining location.

The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to claim additional shifts through the Shift platform. You will join a team that values teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, vendors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Document observations and patrol activities accurately in accordance with procedures.
