Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Sandston, VA to patrol and protect a financial institution and surroundings. You will deliver customer service, deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling with shifts from early morning to afternoon and requires a background in security or related fields, plus a high school diploma or higher.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergencies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and document events in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, including entrances, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Prepare clear daily activity reports and maintain confidentiality of information.
