Qualifications

• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment per law.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment per law.
• License requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct routine patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations; notify site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and daily activity logs; communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
