Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office, lab, and manufacturing areas, building perimeters, parking, and access points.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs/incident documentation.
• Deter unauthorized activity by observing conditions and communicating with site contacts and leadership.
