Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Awareness) in Louisville, KY. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service across manufacturing and industrial settings.

Responsibilities include access control, incident reporting, and professional communication with site personnel and leadership. Minimum requirements include age, education, and background checks; driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, office, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
